With over 30 years of experience as a practising osteopath, Michael Furlong brings a lifetime of knowledge, compassion, and innovation to his work as Clinic Director.
Guided by his vision “to help people feel better to live better,” Michael founded his family-run clinic in Liverpool, which quickly gained a reputation for exceptional patient care.
The clinic has since relocated to a purpose-built facility in Widnes, Cheshire, reflecting both the continued growth of the practice and Michael’s commitment to providing a warm, welcoming, and advanced clinical environment.

Michael’s journey into osteopathy began after sustaining a serious back injury as a teenager while playing professional football. This personal experience sparked a lifelong dedication to helping others recover, move freely, and live better.
A firm believer in continual learning, Michael remains committed to advancing his expertise through ongoing study and training in Prolozone, Prolotherapy, and IDD Therapy. His enthusiasm for new and revolutionary treatments ensures that every patient receives the most effective and up-to-date care possible.
Michael's Qualifications
A graduate of Oxford University, where he earned his Degree in Osteopathy, Michael is a proud member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC, number: 3615) and the first non-Italian member of SIPRO, the respected Italian organisation for Prolotherapy specialists.
