What is Food Sensitivity Diagnostics & Vitamin/Mineral Status Testing?

Various foods may cause minor problems to those that eat them. The symptoms vary from mild to severe and if no action is taken, life can become miserable. True allergies can only be diagnosed and treated by your GP. If you are in any doubt, you must see your medical practitioner as soon as possible.

Am I sensitive to any foods?

Do you suffer from any of the following?:

  • Stiff Joints
  • Bloating
  • Dry Skin
  • Diarrhoea
  • Constipation
  • Skin Problems
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea

These symptoms may be caused by the food that you eat. By testing, we can recommend actions that will help you alleviate these symptoms over time. Please note, your GP should be consulted if you are in any doubt about your symptoms or the effect that they are having on you.

The Procedure

Step 1
A full and simple analysis of your major concerns will be assessed and explained by our therapist.

Step 2
The test is performed painlessly by simply holding a metal rod in one hand and gently stroking a finger on the other hand with a light pen, this means that procedure is suitable for all ages, even the very young (as long as breastfeeding has ceased).

Step 3
A full dietary explanation will then be given by the therapist where some foods may be replaced or omitted completely together with ideal dietary.

What Happens Next?

You will immediately be given written results. Our therapist will now analyse these which may mean omitting certain foods. This could produce withdrawal symptoms in some cases but these will last only a few days and following the therapist’s advice, will help to reduce any side effects.

What Does a Treatment Plan involve?

The programme is designed to identify foods that you may have developed a sensitivity to, and is based on three important markers:

I. The frequency with which you eat each of the foods being tested.

2. Referral to our Guide to the Foods Most Commonly Implicated in Symptoms of Food Sensitivity.

3. Results from using a small electronic machine to measure your bodies reaction to each of the foods being tested.

If all three markers show a positive result, then we recommend that you eliminate the food in question for a temporary period.

Can I ever eat the foods identified again?

The recognised standard of dealing with problems associated with food sensitivity is as follows:

l. Examine the history and symptoms

2. Test all the foods listed

3. Eliminate the potential offenders for one month

4. Re-introduce the food and monitor for symptoms categorise any foods we suggest for elimination
into various stages of priority for you to follow.

We never recommend that you eliminate too many foods at once.
